Welcome

Welcome to The Greater Saginaw Amateur Hockey Association. Our goal is to promote, govern, regulate and improve organized hockey under it’s jurisdiction. To foster among it’s member, supporters, and teams, a general community spirit. To maintain and increase the interest in the game of hockey. To exercise supervision and direction over the playing interest of its players, coaches, managers, referees,

sponsors, and executives, with emphasis on the enhancement of good character, sportsmanship and citizenship.

Congratulations to the following teams on winning the MAHA District 5 Championship on Sunday, Feb. 14, 2010.

Bamberger Insurance coached by Brian Bujouves in the Squirt B division, with a 3-1 win over Midland. Team members: Tyler Bebow, Brad Bujouves, Clay Charbeneau, Adam DePelsMaeker, Sydney Donaldson, Walker Donaldson, Isaac Gleissner [G], Nolan Hensler, Logan Labrash, Reed Schnepf, Parker Severson. Assistant coaches include Jim Bujouves, David Donaldson and Chad Severson.

Squirt 99 Badgers coached by Tim Cornford in the Squirt AA division, with a 4-3 overtime win over the Lapeer Storm. Badgers players: Jordan Tafel [G], Chris Cornford, Traves Stallings, Owen Bourdow, Cameron Floyd, Brandon Smith, Brendan Andis, Seth Neumeyer, Lucas Crawford, Brennan Senkowski, Hunter Zanavich, Spencer Vondette, Cameron Davis, Sierra Westner, Brandon Ashley, Devin Wolfgang [G]. Assistant coaches include Joe Bourdow, Pete Vondette, and David Westner.

Coaching Applications for the 2010-2011 GSAHA Travel Teams are due by April 25, 2010.

Spring League Youth Hockey Registration is now open from Feb. 1 through March 15, 2010. Drafts are March 16-17-18, 2010, with practices starting March 22, 2010. Games will start April 1st and run through May 20 [approx]. 12 Games and 3 practices.
