2010-2011 Fall Registration Form

GSAHA PARTICIPANTS – ATOM through BANTAM – ‘B’ CLASSIFICATION
The registration period for the GSAHA will be between July 15 and September 7, 2010. All players that intend to enroll with the GSAHA for the 2010-2011 hockey season MUST register by September 7, 2010, in accordance to the registration guidelines. Please note that in order to be properly registered, the non-refundable fee of $100.00 must be submitted at this time, along with a copy of the player's birth certificate. This $100.00 will be credited toward your 2010 player fee and is referred to as Payment [#1]. The balance of your fee will then be due in three (3), period installments: [#2] Sept. 30, 2010, [#3] November 15, 2010, & [#4] January 15, 2011. Please make a note of these payment dates.

GSAHA TRAVEL PLAYERS – MITE through BANTAM – ‘A’ or ‘AA’ CLASSIFICATION Prospective players are to attend the scheduled tryouts in August. [There is a $10.00 fee per tryout, payable at the arena office.] Upon completion of the tryouts, selected travel players are required at this time to submit a registration fee of $200.00, in order to secure your roster spot on the team. The subsequent payment installments will be the same as outlined above.

GSAHA MIDGET/HIGH SCHOOL PLAYERS
The GSAHA will again be offering a drafted Midget/High School age league during the months of September and October, which will include similar teams from Midland and Bay County. Interested players are required to follow the outlined registration procedures on this form [including the applicable fee] Please note the Midget Final Draft date is Tuesday, September 7, 2010. The league is being formed so that high school players may participate in September and October, with the option of returning to their respective high school in November. In November, Midget age players wanting to participate for the remainder of the year in the GSAHA program will be redrafted at that time. Registration will be in October, with a November draft.

Mandatory Online Registration: As of May 18, 2008, MAHA has made it mandatory for all players and coaches to register with USA Hockey on line. Go to www.usahockey.com and click on the ‘register, online button and follow all prompts with correct data, making sure you select the correct season – 2010-11. **There is also a direct link to the USA registration form from our website, www.saginawbayicearena.com. Bring or send your confirmation number with you when you register with the GSAHA. Please note that this is now a 2 step procedure.

Summer Improvements

A big thank-you to the Delta Foundation, [directed by the Stephen F. Walch family], for their continued generous monetary donations, to help offset the cost of the new ‘Cooling Tower’.
